Moore Mart Soccer Ball Packing (September 18 & 19, 2009)

Jen packs care packages for MooreMart on a regular basis. This time care packages and soccer balls for the troops were sent. Pictures in this album include the recipients of the care packages and soccer balls and Jen & Paul at the packing.

MooreMart collected and shipped 712 soccer balls to members of the New Hampshire National Guard to be distributed to children throughout Iraq and Afghanistan. This shipment brings our total soccer balls shipped to 3,248.

MooreMart also shipped care packages to members of the New Hampshire National Guard and members of our armed services serving in the Middle East which included girl scout cookies (1,007 boxes), school and relief supplies shipped to schools and orphanages throughout Iraq and Afghanistan as well as supplies shipped to a Boy and Girl Scout unit in Baghdad bringing the total number of care packages shipped to date to 20,720.

Below is a letter MooreMart received from the recipients. Names have been removed for privacy.

On behalf of the Soldiers from U.S. Army Central (USARCENT/Third Army), Resource Management/Budget Office, I wanted to say thank you for the care packages that you sent to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. We greatly appreciate your kind gesture and all the support that you provide to the troops overseas.

I have included a picture of the Soldiers that work in the office.
