What's up!

I haven't blogged in awhile, but a lot has happened and I figured I was overdue.

The autocross season has started, and the SoloRu is almost ready to make it to an event. I've made good progress on the new transmission and it should be done next time get to Dave's for a few hours to finish it up. Hopefully, I'll have that done for the next event in June. The car's going to be phenomenal to drive once I get there.

On another front, I've got a new job. I'm working for Dynamic Network Services in Manchester, NH now. It's an exciting position where I've been learning new things almost non-stop since I started. The company atmosphere is awesome, working amidst fellow geeks and techies, in an office that really embraces having a good time while working. The commute takes less time, to boot.

But that's not all! I've also been working on losing weight from the beginning of February. I've lost 50lbs in the 14 weeks, and that's with the first 2 weeks at Dyn basically being a bit of a wash weight-wise. It's difficult to avoid all the free food at Dyn, and I've been working so much overtime that I haven't been able to exercise as much as I'd like to. But I've gotten back on track this week and am starting the downward trend again. I weigh now what I did when I started college. I weigh less than Jen has ever known me to weigh. I bought new clothes after my old clothes were getting baggy, and those new clothes are starting to look even baggier, but they are new and I can't quite bring myself to give them up just yet.

I hope no one's been feeling left out due to my lack of Facebooking and my barely paying attention to email. I really just haven't been able to keep up with everything. I have a lot of stuff to juggle and I'm hanging on for dear life, but I will get myself under control again soon. And I'll get the SoloRu competing. And I'll be smaller still And I'll be smarter. And we're headed to Ireland in July for a bit of a break from it all - we can't wait! It's all good!
