Region 1 GOLD hosted white water rafting on the Deerfield River and a number of folks from NH WIE-GOLD attended. It was a rainy and dreary day, so most folks rented wet suits or got some really warm clothing. The trip was terrific, with groups of IEEE’ers rafting down class I, II, and III rapids. The highlight of the day was an area called Zoar Gap, which required some skill to navigate successfully. No IEEE folks went in the water thanks to our guides good instructions.

In the 2008 season, I won the Devens National Tour, the Northeast Divisional Championships, and took 2nd in the Finger Lakes ProSolo for F Street Prepared.
