Neil won the 2008 Regional and Divisional FSP (F Street Prepared) Solo class championship with his Subaru! For those of you who don't know, this is the auto-cross (car racing) that Neil puts a lot of his free time and energy into. His car, named "Soloru", has gotten quite a bit of attention since not many people have done what he's doing with it. The car and some of Neil's projects are pictured here and Neil receiving the award is pictured here. I am so proud of him!

I had to go to San Diego for work again and I tried to see everything I missed on the last business trip out there. I went to Balboa Park, the Japanese Friendship Garden, Seaport Village, Mt. Soledad, La Jolla Village, and even the Zoo (though only for an hour). Pictures are posted here.

Christmas Eve this year was in Connecticut at Neil's mom's house. It was a lot of fun, and four of the next generation were there - Winter, Alexis, Finn, and Keir. All the kids, plus Grandpa and Patrick, are in the highlight photo (also here). It was a bit hectic with that many little ones, but it was great to see everyone! The pictures are posted here.
