I've recently deployed a new spam filter at work and I'm rather proud of the results after the first few weeks. This blog post ought to be useful to at least someone who gets here by way of a Google search at some point I hope.

The new server is setup as my company's MX and relays mail inside the network as appropriate, but obviously only after it's been accepted. One key part of the design is to check all mail for a valid destination, viruses, and spam likelihood before it's ever accepted for delivery.

My brother's girlfriend, Cathryn, was the Massachusetts Cherry Blossom Princess, so I went down to see the parade, hang out with Kristy, Quang & Hong Vinh, and family. It was fun despite getting rained on. :-) Pictures...

Last Saturday (one week ago), Dave and Adam and Nick and I put in the new engine that Dave and I built over this last winter. The trials of tribulations of this engine project are all documented in pictures. Details about all that was done can be found at my car page.

The IEEE WIE (Women in Engineering) sponsored a trip to the Chocolate Buffet at the Langham Hotel in Boston. What a great trip! Pictures are posted on the site. There was great food, great company, and great conversation!
