Yeah, once again I'm consolidating blog posts from a bunch of stuff into one. Sorry; it's been a bit crazy for us.
Kristin's Bridal Shower
Kathy (Neil's mom) hosted Kristin's bridal shower down in CT right on the New Haven coast. It was a beautiful location, everyone was happy and excited, and Kristin seemed delighted and ready for the marriage in October. We saw a beautiful rainbow on the way home too - a good omen. I hope Kris and Mike are very happy.
Colorado Trip
I went out to Colorado to visit my good friend Erin. She moved out there a few years ago and I hadn't had a chance to go see her yet. It's very beautiful out there, though very different from what we are used to. We had a great time and visited tons of places. I didn't get any photos from downtown Boulder and the Mama Mia sing along, but that was fun too. We're already plotting what to do next time I'm out there if she doesn't move home first. :-)
Nebraska Trip
We are currently out at the SCCA ProSolo Finale and Solo National Championships in Lincoln, Nebraska. Neil has yet to be at an event where something didn't break, so not to break that rule his transmission failed out here on his final ProSolo run. Ugh. Luckily, Subaru people are awesome and he had one 1.5 days before the next competition. He also had about 6 people helping him uninstall the old one and get the new one in. Woohoo! We got a chance to visit a state park and the Strategic Air & Space Command museum too. More photos to come from this trip since we're about to start the days Neil will race out here.
