Neil and I are doing Bowl for Kid's Sake for Big Brother Big Sisters (BBBS) this year. I have two "littles" through BBBS, Devon and Faith. This past year, Faith had a daughter named Ariya. If you visit the page, Ariya, Faith, and I are in the upper portion of the pictures while the lower portion is Devon. I like to fund raise for BBBS during their Bowl for Kids Sake campaign because they help match kids in need ("littles") with "bigs" who can be a positive energy in their lives in and around the Nashua area.

I just got back from 6 days in SLC! I had the opportunity and privilege to attend the IEEE Annual Meeting out there and it was terrific! The theme of the conference was the Alternative Energy Debate and to that end, I attended a couple of talks on that along with my volunteer training and professional development seminars. It was a good conference and I feel motivated and ready to go!
After Neil left Kauai post-vacation, I went to the Big Island for two days and then came back to Kauai for work. While on the Big Island I visited Volcano National Park, the County Lava Viewing area, and the Macadamia Nut Factory. Pictures of the Big Island are posted here.
